Oscar and Carl – Violins
Oskar and Carl have played on the streets since their age of 10. They like to bring out the swedish folk music and they really succeed. It’s hard not to think of open meadows in the summer when these blond young guys play music. When they don’t perform on the streets they both study orchestral violin at high levels.

Maloca – Drums
This is the most rhytmic part of #musicstreet. No doubts. This brazilian percussion player can entertain a crowd like no other. His show during the recordings is one of the big moments of 2013. It’s a pleasure to have this fantastic player as a part of the song and documentary.

John – Keyed fiddle
Through our hashtag, a phone call and a number we got in touch with John. This keyed fiddle-player hadn’t played any music younger than 1900. John like to travel Sweden by bus and entertatin during medivial and folkmusic-events.

Jerry – Acoustic gitar
Sometimes Jerry is very present, but two seconds later he has travelled to a place far away. Even if he sometimes is considered giddy, he is a talented musician and song writer with high ambitions.

Timothy – Acoustic guitar and vocals
It all started with a Youtube-link through our website. Timothy made a stunning cover of Coldplay’s song Fix You. This lovely street musician is a natural singer of #musicstreet – It feels like home. He is also co-writer of the song!

Simon is a bass player from Gothenburg, Sweden. Timothy was the one to introduce Simon to the project. When he don’t play on the streets he like to perform at different clubs with several bands and constellations.

According to the #musicstreet-team, Ivan is known as the “no problem-guy”. A nick name invented after just a few minutes. According to Ivan, very few things are hard to solve. A positive-thining role model for everyone who complains about their life situation.

Roberto – Accordion
Roberto has played the accordion since he was 6 years old. He is a romani who came to Sweden to feed his family in Romania. To play pop-music is too easy because it contains too few colorations. A humble person with a big heart.
